RoofRoutine holds the everyday details of one household: two people, what needs doing, what was done, and where things are. Here is exactly what that means.
To run the product you asked for: to remember your household's things, to send the nudge to the right person, and to answer your questions from your own log. Nothing is used to build a profile, and nothing is used to train a model. We also keep the questions you ask RoofRoutine, whether it found an answer, and your yes or no if you give one, without who asked. We read the ones it could not answer to decide how to make it better.
Three services, each only for what it does, all with data in the European Union:
Nobody buys, rents or receives your household data for their own purposes. The language model is currently switched off entirely; when it comes back, answers will be composed from your own log and that will be said here first.
As long as your household exists. Delete the household in Settings and everything goes with it: tasks, memory, facts, photos and both members. That is immediate and cannot be undone. An inactive free household is deleted after two years, with an email first.
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it you can do yourself in the app; for the rest write to hello@roofroutine.com and you get an answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
None for tracking. The app keeps your sign-in token and a couple of preferences in your browser's own storage, which is what lets you stay signed in. There is nothing to consent to, so there is no banner.
